Princeton Week 7: Sunshine State of Mind
Today’s Thursday Theme Day was tropical fun in the sun and our campers definitely dressed the part! They arrived in their bathing suits, favorite Hawaiian shirts, and some cool sunglasses. When they got out of their cars, our counselors greeted them with leis. At break, we had a water balloon toss, played beach ball games and did a relay race called Fill The Bucket. For the race, students had to work with their teams to fill a bucket with water the fastest using a sponge. It was great to see the students outside, enjoying the games and sunshine after a rainy start to the week. What is a better brain break than water games?!
The rain and thunder prevented the afternoon session from going outside, but that did not stop the fun. The campers played relay races with beach balls in the gym! We still had sunshine on our minds. Hopefully tomorrow our afternoon classes can get outside and play the water games that were scheduled for today. Pack a towel tomorrow, too!
