This week our Left Brain youngsters are loving WeDo Robotics! The building can be challenging at times, but the true learning comes from working through the tough parts. After the students build their own Lego figure, they use their own personal computer to code a sequence that allows the figure to complete an action. There is nothing better than their big smiles when they see the finished product and feel accomplished knowing their hard work got them there! So far this week, our Left Brain learners have made spinning tops and boats that rock back and forth. The students loved seeing their boats move and programming them to have noises that mimicked waves. Exposing students to simple forms of coding at a young age is a great way to make them comfortable with technology!
