One unique aspect of International Ivy is that students from all different schools and age groups come together for one awesome experience. This gives younger kids the opportunity to learn from positive role models, and it gives older kids the chance to be that positive role model for someone. This week at International Ivy Princeton, our older campers have been especially kind, inclusive, and encouraging towards our Youngsters. During breaks, the older campers play with the young students, ask for their input, and cheer them on during every game. While a simple act of kindness may seem small, or even second nature to some, it is an attitude like this that can make a younger camper’s experience so much more fun! Our Youngsters have really grown to like and look up to the older campers from other classes, and it is great when everyone can get along and play together. We have played many games of soccer, keep it up, and gaga all as a whole group and it is awesome to see older students being so warm to the kindergarteners. International Ivy hopes all campers can make new friends, and that starts with simple acts of kindness.
