Drones take flight in Oakland

The Drone Programming class, which has been learning how to program their drones to differentiate from other drones took flight once again today. This wasn’t a normal flight however, as the drones, each featured their own custom soundtrack chosen by the students. Students learned Wednesday how to customize the colors their drones light up, as well as, how to program the drone to play music using the score from Jurassic Park. Thursday’s class saw the students programming their own musical selections into the drones before having them take flight. Today students were able to manually fly their drones activating the lights and music at the press of a button, before engaging in an aerial laser battle with their drones.
