Brains on Display!

After learning about the different portions of the brain Tuesday, yesterday’s Anatomy class in Oakland got to apply their knowledge by dissecting a sheep’s brain. The class identified the different lobes of the brain, before dissecting to get a closer look at the right and left hemispheres. Another cut through the cerebellum allowed students to the kids to see the different between grey matter and white matter within the brain. A fun time was had by all, with this only making the kids more excited for frog dissections on Friday.
