This week we are excited to offer another Virtual Reality class while welcoming two new classes, Public Speaking/Youth Leadership and Forensic Science! Campers in Public Speaking started off the week by writing and presenting about themselves. They developed “Bio Poems”, which included writing about their family, biggest fears, and wishes! The Virtual Reality class learned the foundations of the platform as well as how the goggles work, and will continue during the week to develop their own games. During break, we love to go outside! On Monday, our campers choose from Gaga Ball, cards, or another game organized by counselors. And today we will compete in Minute to Win it Games, including cup stacking relays and “keep it up” with balloons! On another note, we were all were shocked to find out a crime had been committed during break on Monday- someone stole chocolate chip cookies and left a mess behind! Luckily, we have the Forensic Science class to investigate; they examined evidence, created questions, and interrogated our staff. We hope they catch the culprit!
