The Wonder of Wednesday

Week 7 has gotten off to a fun start. Our 3D Printing class has been learning to use Tinkercad in order to design planes, animals, cars, boats, and more. Their projects are coming out great!!!

Comic Creation is learning the fine art of sequential storytelling. There have been lessons on pacing, story progression, dialogue, and understanding how to visually tell a story.

Our future Engineers have been experimenting with flight and controlled descent using paper, fans, string, and other everyday items.

The Math of Money class learned about inflation, took part in a faux auction, and put those critical thinking and decision making skills to the test with a Monopoly game break.

As always the Gaga pit is an exciting place to be during our long break times. The competition is fierce but there is a lot of sportsmanship on display as well as some of the older campers “losing’ so that some of the younger campers can get a taste of the Gaga victory.
