Basking Ridge Week 7: HTML, Riddles, and Math Games

Happy Week 7 from Basking Ridge! This week, we are offering classes in Math Competition Training, ISEE Verbal Test Preparation, and Website Design. Math Competition focuses on learning strategies, practicing problems, and then reviewing them as a class. So far they have worked on drawing pictures and making organized lists/ tables in order to help solve problems. Campers end the day by challenging themselves with Math Olympiad quizzes! The ISEE Verbal Test Prep Class began by expanding vocabulary and inferring the meaning of unknown words. Additionally, they’ve worked on sentence completions and ended the day with some timed riddles as a fun way to practice critical yet quick thinking. And last but not least, the Website Design campers are learning the basics of the programming language HTML. They’ve also started to research and develop themes for their websites, now that they have the coding basics under their belt.
