Happy August from International Ivy at Basking Ridge! The summer is flying by, but time flies when you’re having fun at camp! This week’s Theme Thursday was Rainbow day- and the campers’ colorful tie dyed outfits really brightened our day! But, on a more serious note, the cookie bandit investigation is still open. But fear not, the detectives in Forensic Science are hard at work and have created a timeline of events based on testimonies from staff members, and are probably examining fingerprints as we speak! We have no doubt they will catch the culprit. Despite the ongoing investigation, our Virtual Reality and Public Speaking classes have carried on as usual. Each camper in Public Speaking had the opportunity to select a topic of their choice for an essay and presentation. Yesterday, they presented the topics along with facts they researched. And today, they paired up and chose topics to debate. Check out their presentations on the International Ivy YouTube Channel! As for Virtual Reality, campers have been enjoying the creativity of designing their own virtual obstacle courses which are brought to life through the Virtual Reality headsets! And not only do they play their own games, but have fun trying out each other’s too! tags: Virtual Reality, Forensic Science, Public Speaking
