The Princeton International Ivy Site kicked off this past Monday and it looks like we have an exciting summer ahead. Thanks to our awesome campers and instructors, all the classes are going well and we have so much more in store.
This week we have Flight and Aerospace Engineering, Right Brain Mix and Java Programming. Between all three classes, International Ivy Princeton campers are engaging in a variety of educational STEAM activities.
In the Engineering class today, campers used a variety of different mediums and materials to create “rockets.” Then, using a protractor, the students had to calculate and record the distance of their rocket’s journey at different angles. They then had to interpret the data and make changes to achieve different results. This activity combined math, science and engineering even though the student really just looked at it as fun!
