Makey Makey Tune Up!

Our Electrical Engineering with Makey Makey class has been hard at work this week creating all types of cool and fun creations. The room is definitely filled with creativity and all of their amazing work is on display.

One camper decided to make an awesome guitar controller utilizing his new skills he learned in class. The controller is able to connect to a game on the computer and allows him to play. It is almost like he is using a real guitar.

On the other side of the classroom, a camper made a cute bird drawing that’s interactive. When the viewer presses their finger over different parts of the bird, different bird sounds can be heard, just like if you were in the forest.

Another amazing creation was the blind maze that required the player to use their finger to navigate a maze without sight. Whenever the player collided with a wall of the maze, it would make a sound to let them know to stay on track. Once you reached the end, a victorious horn was played to let you know that you conquered the challenge successfully.

Even with all of these amazing inventions, campers are continuing to prototype and build awesome new ones too.
