Somerset Week 8 – Planes Take Flight in Engineering Aerospace!

My bags are packed… I’m ready to go… and take off in Engineering Flight and Aerospace.   Our first group activity included designing and creating flyable objects and using propulsion to blast them through the air.   This introductory activity taught the campers about how using different lengths and materials would produce different results.  Their theories proved accurate as the plastic was a far superior material than foam or construction paper because of its ability to seal in the air.  Great start campers!!!
