Princeton Week 7: Afternoon Accomplishments in Robotics Vehicles
This afternoon at International Ivy Princeton was full of excitement in the Robotics Vehicles class as students fully completed their first project of the Castor Bot. This structure is a robot with four wheels that is used in challenges like Bot Battles, obstacle courses, and mazes. The students built their robots using legos, then created a sequence on their computers that allowed the robot to do the functions that the students wanted it to do. The students coded their robots to battle each other and put them to the test in a makeshift fighting rink on the floor. Later in the week, students will make other vehicles and explore the coding side in depth by learning about all the different functions the robot can complete such as sensing, loops and switches.
