Team Work Makes the Dream Work: Chatham Week 7
Challenging? Hard Work? Team Work? Creativity? I mean, what more could an International Ivy camper be? With the help of the Team Makers this week, our campers are advancing their communication and problem solving skills as they tackle different challenges with three different classes and spanning the ages of 5 -14!
In the Leadership Games class, students were tasked with building the tallest structure using the given blocks. The students split up into teams and, using their critical thinking skills and experimented with different designs to construct the tallest tower.
In Discovery Workshop, the campers worked with circuit boards and used their creativity to construct their own circuits. The campers were split up into small groups and worked on their communication skills as they collaborated and built their own circuits.
The students got messy in Adventure Quest and constructed different marshmallow structures. They learned important steps of the design process as they designed and created marshmallow people.
We can’t wait for the fun activities the campers will continue to do throughout the week!
