Express Yourself! Writing, Painting, Comics, and Public Speaking in Livingston Week 7!

This week in Livingston, we are focused on communicating our thoughts, ideas, and feelings through different mediums. In Creative Writing Workshop, our campers are focusing on writing skills like figurative language and using showing, sensory details to write creative, descriptive, and elaborative final projects. In Comic Creation, students are representing their story ideas (like Harry Potter and Spiderman spin-offs) through comics, using website platforms like Pixton. Our afternoon campers are becoming expert artists in Canvas Painting. In Public Speaking and Youth Leadership, our campers are learning to express themselves and their important ideas clearly and convincingly. We look forward to a week of self expression and confidence building through writing, illustration, painting, and strong verbal communication!
