Today in the Anatomy class, the students learned all about the different types of stitching and sutchuring that are used in the healthcare realm. Then, students got to put their learning to the test by performing the different types of stitches they learned about on bananas. The students were challenged to make individual and continuous stitches, and all their cuts turned out great! It is awesome when students can learn real life techniques in practical, approachable ways. Seems like we have some doctors and surgeons in the making!
