Basking Ridge Week 5- A Wide Variety of Classes

It’s Week 5 at Basking Ridge, and it’s off to a great start! This week, we are offering a diverse variety of classes: Roblox Game Development, Investment Literacy and Stock Market Game, Anatomy and Surgical Techniques, and Film Making! Our Roblox developers kicked off the week with an introduction to the elements of game design, and now are working to create virtual obstacle courses. The Investment Literacy and Stock Market Game class learned about companies and dividends, and now are trading stocks with an online program. In Anatomy, our scientists studied the parts of the brain and created play-doh models and “brain hats” in preparation for their sheep brain dissection. And lastly, our Film class has developed a storyboard, assigned roles, and began filming in full costume. And in between all that hard work, we have been enjoying Gaga Ball, Sharks and Minnows, Connect Four and Uno. Stay tuned for more updates on YouTube and Flickr in the upcoming days!
