Ending Basking Ridge Week 4 with a BANG!

Time flies when you’re having fun- and we can’t believe it’s Friday already! In Creative Writing Workshop, our campers completed fiction story mountains, mapping out the beginning, middle, and end, as well as the problem and solution. They also learned the importance of using descriptive language in order to “show not tell”. Meanwhile, the Virtual Reality class learned the basics of physics in order to create virtual roller coasters, and today have the option of creating either a virtual house or a video game. The students have been having a blast experiencing each others’ creations through the virtual reality headsets.
Yesterday we had fun dressing up in creative costumes for the “Halloween in July” theme day; we had superheroes, cats, ninjas and more! During breaks, we learned a new game called “Bang!” and played a few more rounds of Gaga.
