Chatham July 12th
Today ends the third week of International Ivy in Chatham. We had many wonderful presentations and activities. In the morning, we had presentations from Shark Tank, including a prototype 3D-printed cat toy and a personalized gift giver. Campers presented on profit margins, production costs, and sales predictions. We also watched campers present on their new websites, made in Website Design. The websites varied from travel blogs to informationals about zoos. Check out the videos on our Chatham playlist:
In the afternoon, we had a chess tournament which awarded ivy points for a reward. We also had a fun collaboration between the Math & Problem-Solving Games class and the Youngster class. To cement their knowledge, Math campers taught the Youngster how to do math! It was a wonderful lesson in patience and communication. Lastly, we had a sweet treat for break! The Lemonade Stand presented the lemonades they have been perfecting all week! Campers had the opportunity to try both team’s lemonade!
